Like Algebra 1-2, the concept of “function” is used as a unifying theme. Students build on their previous knowledge of functions to explore modeling and curve fitting. Besides expanding their previous knowledge, students explore logarithmic, radical, and trigonometric functions. The course also covers solving systems of equations, operations with matrices, sequences & series, discrete math topics, and data exploration. Technology is integrated as a problem solving tool.
