School Policy
- Grades are not based on attendance or behavior
- Zeros are not given for missing work
- There is no penalty for late work
Calculus Policy
- 20% of your grade is homework. These will be graded for feedback but will be entered into the gradebook as Complete/Incomplete.
- Don't just copy work. It does nothing for you. I'd rather you do 2 out of 20 problems on your own than copy an entire assignment.
- 80% of your grade will be AP style exams.
- Don't cheat. That means no using any resources unless I say. You may always use a calculator unless I say so. If you cheat your grade will be voided and you will receive another opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge.
Attendance
Students will be expected to attend class whenever possible just like in-person schooling. We recognize that this may be more difficult this year. If students are unable to attend class but complete the work given or check in with their teacher within 24 hours of a missed class, the student will be counted as present. Letting us know in advance of planned absences may help us provide additional support and resources.
