If you qualify for this, please email Mr. Jolly at the end of the semester.

Grading Scale

A 1 through 4 proficiency-based grading scale will be used with learning targets in this course. This is in alignment with our proficiency-based grading policies. All learning target scores will be averaged and then this conversion to a final letter grade will be used:

A: 4.0-3.4        B: 3.4-2.7        C: 2.7-2.0        D: 2.0-1.6       F: less than 1.6

Make-Up Tests

If you miss a test because of an excused absence, you must come in during the next AT to take it. If this is not possible you will take the test during the next class. If neither of these are possible, you must email Mr. Jolly before the day of the test.

Multiple Opportunities:

There are no test retakes in this course. However, there will be multiple opportunities on each target that all students will take. All opportunity scores on the target will then be averaged and rounded to the nearest whole number.  Then all whole number target scores will be averaged for a summative grade in the course.

All students are expected to be SAFE, RESPECTFUL and RESPONSIBLE.

It is school policy that all electronic devices, except for graphing calculators, will be safely stowed for the duration of class. Chromebooks will be used during parts of this course only when teachers permit them.  If electronics become a distraction in this class the device will be confiscated and held at the main office and parent/guardian will be notified.
